This page explains what happens to the information you give us through hub.ethgreece.org, whether you join the waitlist or send a partnership enquiry.
Who is responsible
Ethereum Greece Hub Α.Μ.Κ.Ε.
ΓΕΜΗ 191097801000, Athens, Greece
hello@ethgreece.org
What we collect
Only what the form asks for, and nothing gathered quietly in the background.
| If you join the waitlist | Why we hold it |
|---|---|
| Your name | So we can write to you like a person rather than an address |
| Your email | To send you the updates you asked for |
| What you ticked | So we only write to you about the things you chose |
| Your note, if you left one | So we can respond to what you actually said |
| Language and referral link | To reply in the right language, and to know which of our posts brought you here |
| A one-way hash of your IP address | To spot someone hammering the form. It cannot be turned back into your IP address |
A partnership enquiry additionally records your organisation, the tier you asked about, and your message.
Why we are allowed to hold it
- Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, for everything to do with emailing you about the hub. You can withdraw it at any time and we stop.
- Our legitimate interest in keeping the form working, which is the only reason we hash IP addresses.
What we will email you about
The opening, and the specific things you ticked. That is the whole list. Ticking "Room hire" is not agreement to a general newsletter, and we do not treat it as one.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your details, trade them, or hand them to anyone for their own purposes. Three companies process data on our behalf, purely so the site can function:
| Cloudflare | Hosts the website and the database your signup is stored in |
| Attio | The contact system where we keep track of who is on the waitlist |
| Resend | Delivers the emails we send you |
Each of these may store or process data outside Greece and the European Economic Area. They act only on our instructions.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and contains no advertising or social media trackers. Our emails carry no tracking pixels, so we do not know whether you opened one.
How long we keep it
Until you tell us to stop. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record that you did so, because that is the only reliable way to make sure you are not emailed again by mistake. If you ask for full deletion, we delete everything.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, hand it over in a portable form, restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it at all. You can withdraw your consent whenever you like.
Two ways to do it:
- The unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send you, which takes effect immediately.
- Email hello@ethgreece.org. We will respond within one month, and normally a great deal sooner.
If you think we have handled your data badly and we have not put it right, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at dpa.gr.
Changes to this page
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and affects people already on the waitlist, we will email them about it rather than quietly editing.
